3453 S Jefferson
The former St. Matthew Church in South City, St. Louis has been transformed into a lecture hall. Located at 3453 S Jefferson Avenue and built in 1888, the renovation was completed in April 2018. The building features two levels that function as independent event spaces: the basement level is equipped with a full sound system throughout, stage lighting, commercial kitchen, original tin ceiling, terrazzo floors with built-in shuffleboard court, and more, while the sanctuary level features soaring ceilings, a balcony/mezzanine level, original stained glass windows, ADA-compliant access, and original hardwood floors.
